Ø Do you as a homeowner benefit from filing a Homestead Exemption?
Applying for a homestead exemption on your primary residence will lower your residential tax payment whether you pay monthly or annually from an escrow account.
Ø Do all homes qualify?
No, only your primary residence will qualify. The homeowner must be an individual (for example, not a corporation or a business), and the homeowner must occupy their home prior to January 1st of the current tax year.

- Age 65 or older and disabled exemptions
- Optional percentage exemptions
- Optional age 65 or older or disabled exemptions
